Course Description:

Provide overview of Part I of training regarding OPN Method and basic techniques in working with residents having psycho-social related issues, show and discuss virtual experience of a patient with psychosis, educate on mental illness diagnoses and symptoms, educate on therapeutic interventions to use in working with mentally ill residents to set providers up for success in therapy, show and discuss brain processes in the progression of Alzheimer’s Disease, educate on dementia diagnoses and symptoms, educate on therapeutic interventions to use in working with dementia residents to set provider up for success in therapy.
