Course Description:
This program will review anatomy, injury, pathology, and treatments for common knee and shoulder problems. The purpose of this presentation is to broaden the participant’s knowledge base of various common orthopaedic complaints and to provide a framework for the clinical care team in developing a diagnostic and treatment plan. Presenting complaints and injury mechanisms will be discussed along with clinical and imaging diagnostic approaches. Nonoperative and operative treatment pathways for some of the more common complaints will be reviewed. The didactic portion will conclude with several case-based examples of knee and shoulder problems.
