Course Description:
A two day, 14 hour, active participation course teaching the fundamentals of Bal-A-Vis-X. Exercises are steadily rhythmic, with a pronounced auditory foundation, executed at a pace that naturally results from proper physical techniques. Participants will learn how to develop internal rhythm in even the most challenging patients.
Benefits of BAVX include strengthened visual tracking, increased attention span, increased confidence and self discipline, increased ability to hold and repeat rhythmic patterns, improvements in motor planning, hand eye coordination, bilateral coordination, full body coordination, and balance. All benefits are framed in terms of classroom success as well as attainment of therapeutic goals. Hands on workshop.
