Course Description:
This program will help first responders and clinicians properly identify and clinically treat the complicated diagnosis of concussion. Specific case studies and treatment approaches will provide methods that help the concussed student athlete return to learn and return to play as quickly as possible. This educational program is geared towards those responsible for the identification and treatment of concussion and include primary care physicians, emergency medicine physicians, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, sports medicine, neurologists, PA's, NP's, nurses, athletic trainers, physical therapists, occupational therapists , and speech and language specialists.
