Course Description:
The hip and low back are dance partners, linked by muscles and bones and fascia and more. Testing and training these areas involves an array of possibilities, dozens of potential assessment techniques and hundreds of intervention choices. How do we know which ones to use, or how to employ them best? Research, of course. But how do we siphon and sift through the deluge of information available about the low back and the hip? This course offers some help. It first refreshes or introduces participants to efficient literature search methods. Then by way of 24 digestible and discussion-sparking findings related to the low back and hip, it informs participants of evidence-based testing and training techniques, potentially challenging common practices and helping improve patient care.
