Course Description:

This one and one-half hour intermediate level course for PT/PTAs and OT/OTAs provides instruction on the treatment of subacute patients and is part of a series of Online Accelerated Clinical Practice courses. The course provides review of the physiological impairments contributing to delayed healing and the evidence-based role of biophysical agents as part of an effective and comprehensive plan of care. It offers treatment approaches in the acute and chronic phases of healing and the impact on functional mobility, participation, and quality of life.
