Course Description:

This program will address best practices and the role of the therapist in the management of supplemental oxygen and titration for the medically complex patients receiving rehabilitation services. The clinical indications, benefits and considerations for use of supplemental oxygen will be reviewed. Participants will apply the principles discussed to a case study to facilitate an understanding of interprofessional practice, clinical reasoning and decision-making regarding the use of supplemental oxygen.
