Course Description:

This module provides physical and occupational therapy professionals with an understanding of the causes and presentation of distal radius fractures. A brief review of relevant wrist anatomy is provided. Conservative and operative treatment options, potential complications, considerations of treatment and progression for older patients, and progression based on clinical presentation are addressed.
