Course Description:

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility - Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) is a required assessment form utilized in the inpatient rehabilitation setting for patients with Medicare Part A and C. This instrument is used as a clinical data collection tool to calculate quality measures and for determination of Medicare payment. This course will cover the importance of accurate scoring and completion of the IRF-PAI, focusing on involvement of the rehabilitation professionals.
