Course Description:

Reimbursement guidelines through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other insurance providers are always changing. One area where therapists have the potential to optimize insurance reimbursement while improving their patient care and outcomes is through use of different care delivery models. This course will define individual, group, concurrent, and co-treatment based on each care setting and highlight the documentation and billing requirements for each. Current evidence regarding the benefits and limitations of each delivery model will be presented.
