Visual/Vestibular Neuroanatomy Review: Interdisciplinary Clinical Application for Neurological Diagnoses

Course Objectives:
1) The participant will understand the basic anatomy and function of the vision and vestibular systems, specifically the VOR, and the relevance for clinic examination and treatment.
2) The participant will understand the integration of the visual and vestibular systems and their effect on posture/balance/ and eye movement control.
3) The participant will be able to differentiate between central and peripheral vestibular disorders utilizing clinical guidelines provided.
4) The participant will be provided a review of visual and visual disorders seen clinically across the interdisciplinary spectrum of care of acute/ rehabilitation and outpatient settings.
