Course Description:

This course is more than just a review of billing and regulations for Telehealth. It shows you how to really do it – with confidence and skill. You’ll get the nuts and bolts of how to effectively use telehealth and it will provide answers to your questions about payment and technical considerations. However, the majority of the course consists of watching the Nation’s leading expert, who has done this work full-time for years, work with real patients. You'll see patient examinations and interventions delivered remotely encompassing the top diagnoses seen by physical therapists (back, neck, shoulder, and knee pain) as well as a lower extremity injury.
Todd Norwood, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, clinical director and full-time telehealth therapist, invites you to watch his encouraging, engaging style, and favorite evaluation and treatment techniques as he works with 4 patients. The course is loaded with usable handouts from informed consent forms to sample bills, to telehealth friendly functional tools. In addition, Dr. Carole Lewis asks questions and provides insights as Dr. Norwood shares his expertise.
Telehealth can be a full-time practice for physical therapists, but it can also be a great tool to supplement face to face care. Add Telehealth to your PT toolbox.
