Course Description:
This course is a recording of a previously hosted live webinar event. Polling and question submission features are not available for this recording. Format and structure may differ from standard MedBridge courses. Gait deviations are commonly seen in aging adults with orthopedic and neurologic deficits. Addressing these deviation are critical in promoting functional independence and decreasing fall risk. Are you struggling with identifying the cause of the different deviations and designing the optimal intervention? During this session, the presenter will explore ways to provide specific and realistic intervention strategies to address common impairments in people with varying gait deviations. Multiple videos will be provided of both the gait deviations and intervention options. The intervention options will be focused on bridging the gap between scientific evidence and the realities of practice.
