Course Description:

While there is still much to learn about the short- and long-term impacts of COVID-19, there is increasing recognition of multi-system impairments related to the virus. A wide range of symptoms, from loss of sense of smell to autoimmune disorders and increased risk of stroke, have been linked to COVID-19. This course provides learners with an overview of the many systems impacted by COVID-19 and evidence-based outcome measures to evaluate and progress patients. A case study is presented, modeling best practices of the therapist's role in managing patients with these conditions.
