Course Description:
This course provides attendees with an understanding of how movement patterns contribute to osteoarthritis progression and how biomechanics impacts short- and long-term outcomes after joint arthroplasty. Clinical tools to objectively measure biomechanics, as well as interventions to restore normal movement patterns for individuals with knee osteoarthritis will be discussed. This course is directly related to the practice of physical therapy and is therefore appropriate for the PT/PTA.
