Course Description:
Patients with obstructive or restrictive lung disease can present with decreased activity tolerance and dyspnea which can have a significant impact on their plan of care and outcomes. Although there are some similarities in the presentation of these diseases, clinicians must be able to recognize how differences in the underlying pathologies will influence their assessment and treatment approach. This course focuses on the differences between rehabilitation interventions for chronic obstructive and restrictive lung disease.
