Course Description:
Peripheral nervous system (PNS) conditions affecting the lower extremities are common in older adults. Peripheral neuropathy, often caused by diabetes, peroneal neuropathy, and lumbosacral radiculopathy, can cause debilitating symptoms and interfere with safe functional mobility. This module describes how to identify these conditions, assess the impact on functional status, and develop an individualized treatment plan to maximize safety and quality of life.
