Course Description:
Research shows that work rehabilitation programs are optimized with an early or modified return to work approach to care. This program is designed to enhance clinician skills in making return to work recommendations by translating general ergonomics principles to a specific worker situation and generating viable options to bridge work performance gaps.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of the training, participants will be able to-
1. Summarize the role of the therapist in the Reasonable Accommodation process.
2. Develop a summary of worker limitations using a physical dimensions approach, based on job information, functional testing and using worker interview.
3. Develop options for work modification using a physical dimensions approach.
