Balance is required to keep us upright and stable. Without balance we struggle with basic stability, performing daily activities and are at increased risk for injury and even death. This course is designed to review the bodies systems that help regulate our balance, review basic anatomy of these systems, and discuss what happens when something goes wrong with one or all of these systems. It will also touch on certain diseases/conditions that can affect our balance and ways to screen/check our balance. Finally this course will discuss basic treatments/exercises to help improve our balance and stability.
