Course Description:

Development Program Structure – Froedtert CP
GOALS:
1.   Improve professionalism, expand growth as a clinician and employee both in clinical reasoning & orthopedic skillset
Expectations/Goals of Clinician going through program:
1.   Hypothesis generation**
2.   Respecting SINSS-tailor irritability **
3.   Test-retest to guide treatment within and between sessions **
4.   Basic orthopedic manual therapy skillset
5.   Use body charts **
6.   Fill out I-Script tool complete for 2 body regions (at least 1 spine); 2 onsite evaluations with mentor (at least one spine if possible) followed by discussion
Structure:
•   Send out Clinical Decision Making Presentation- to view prior to 1st mentoring session
•   8 – 120 minute sessions weekly with OCS certified mentor within Froedtert system who has been through program outlined below
o   2 - Review of clinical decision making framework & start of Lumbar/pelvic eval & treatment
o   2 – Cervical/thoracic & any questions from L-S eval/treat
o   2 -Upper Extremity & any questions from CT eval/treat
o   2 - Lower Extremity & any questions from UE eval/treat
•   Case Reviews done with 2 I-Script tool (at least 1 for cervical/low back) and review over eval/in person with mentor
•   2-2 hour Direct Observation with mentor with evaluation/treatment and discussion
