This is a 6-hr asynchronous online learning module designed for rehab professionals to confidently and competently navigate ACL reconstruction rehab from day 1 post operative to return to play discharge decision making. The course highlights the entire rehab process including evaluation/re-evaluation/discharge testing and the rationale and processes for intervention selections. Exercise progressions are broken down into strength, locomotive and plyometrics categories for every month and progressions are laid out in a sequential manner with ability to lateralize and modify as needed. The course is targeted towards the new grad/early career PT who is trying to find an evidence informed system for ACL progression, in addition to those who have moderate experience or exposure to the ACL population, but lack a formal system that encompasses all considerations for ACL rehab including biological healing factors, physiological output and a multisystem functional movement based approach (biomechanical, musculoskeletal, neurocognitive and aerobic/anaerobic energy system development). Participants will leave with the ability to blend a traditional post operative timeline based rehab regimen with a functional, criteria based model.
