Course Description:
Apraxia is a disorder of skilled and purposeful movement due to neurological damage or disorders. People with limb apraxia have severe functional deficits that impede everyday task performance. In this course, rehabilitation therapy professionals will learn the pathophysiology of limb apraxia, common clinical presentations, evidence-based methods for assessment, and how to align findings from your assessment to the appropriate interventions.
