Course Description:
These four half-day training sessions will focus on building more effective interventions around infant/toddler behavior concerns. We will talk about family engagement in discussions about development and behavior, provider experiences in addressing issues with parents, creating collaborative processes, using inquiry as a first step in intervention, and framing questions to promote collaborative engagement with families. Top concerns commonly shared by parents of infants and toddlers will be examined in depth with a look at the research, typical and atypical patterns, and strategies for consideration by families and providers. Each participant will be provided a personal cop-y of the BABES Toolkit for use in their work. Key Themes:
