Course Description:

This one-day, immersive event will focus on blending two primary initiatives in the oncology rehabilitation field: Primary prevention of cancer and management of adverse effects of cancer treatment. The morning sessions will highlight key components of the role of PT, OT, and nursing in cancer prevention, with our featured keynote speaker, Deb Doherty, PT, PhD. Interactive, roundtable discussions will feature evidence-based advances in pediatric oncology, breast cancer, pelvic health, head and neck cancer, and cancer prevention. Afternoon sessions will concentrate on the latest evidence surrounding management of adverse effects of the medical management of cancer.
