Course Description:

It is well established that a Biopsychosocial model of care for musculoskeletal pain conditions is the best practice standard. However, most rehabilitation programs are not including programming on biopsychosocial care skills beyond the biomedical aspects. This leaves a gap in caring for high risk and chronic pain patients with conservative treatment skills. This training series is designed to give an introduction to basic skills to address the psychosocial components of the biopsychosocial model in an outpatient rehab setting.
