Course Description:

This online seminar is a thorough review of Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) from its origin to clinical application in today’s therapy setting. In this course we discuss the physiology, mechanisms and biochemistry of BFR and how these impact the variables of application. The course provides a detailed description of the components of BFR including a breakdown of all the variables that can be modified within the application to the patient. This course describe various patient populations and how the physiology, biochemistry and mechanisms can be altered to target these different populations. Lastly, this course includes live demonstration of the techniques and application of BFR including proper placement, dosing, and considerations of contra-indications and precautions.
