Course Description:

The emphasis of this program is on pain reduction, motor learning and restoring function. The goal is to teach patients to better understand the anatomy, pathology, and biomechanics of their thumb OA in relation to their symptoms. This structured program increases the potential for behavior change through didactic education, stability training, repetition and feedback and provides resources for independent self-management and greater community participation.
