Course Description:
This 3 part series will review Neuromotor assessment and rehabilitation strategies of the cervical and lumbar spine and Somatosensory assessment and rehabilitation strategies of the lumbar spine. Neuromotor deficits have been identified and researched in attempt to improve accurate diagnosis and interventional techniques within the physical therapy setting. The purpose of these courses is to educate participants on the assessment and management of the neuromotor system as it relates to dysfunction and disability in lumbar and cervical spine pathology. These courses will also provide appropriate interventional strategies relating to deficits of the neuromotor system of the lumbar spine. Somatosensory deficits have been identified and researched in attempt to improve accurate diagnosis and interventional techniques within the physical therapy setting. The purpose of this course is to educate participants on the assessment and management of the somatosensory system as it relates to dysfunction and disability in lumbar spine pathology. This course will also discuss interventional strategies relating to deficits of the somatosensory system of the lumbar spine.
