Course Description:

Controlled tendon loading remains the gold standard of patellar tendinopathy treatment, but there are a subset of patients who do not improve or worsen using established loading programs. What are the options when a patient fails to respond to the initial treatment approach? This course will provide a brief overview of established loading programs and then dive into challenging case presentations. Through discussion of these cases, we will provide an update on the current science of tendinopathy treatment, describe a comprehensive clinical exam for patients with patellar tendinopathy, explore how established loading programs may be individualized to each patient, share clinical pearls, and review the utility of adjunctive treatments.
