Course Description:

This course evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of patient reported outcomes measures (PROMs). It will discuss how these tools have an imperative role in benchmarking, evaluating progress and recovery in rehabilitation, and how they have been incorporated into pay for performance metrics. This course also discusses psychometric weaknesses and gives recommendations on how to best interpret and utilize Patient Reported Outcome Measures in clinical practice based upon these potential limitations.
