Course Description:

After patients incur an injury to the wrist, getting the most effective rehabilitation program is essential to return to their prior level of function as efficiently as possible. And, for those patients who suffer chronic, painful conditions, proper care is critical in relieving discomfort, restoring function and mobility, and improving the patient's quality of life. This interactive, class will advance participant proficiency beyond traditional intervention techniques towards contemporary, innovative, and effective treatment strategies. The interventions introduced in this course will emphasize evidence, occupational, and technological-based practice for clients who have incurred a wrist or carpal fracture or ligament injury. Participants will leave the course with a diverse and augmented skill set which enhances their expertise in patient care.
