Course Description:

Respiratory muscle training (RMT) is an evidence-based treatment that is being used more
frequently in rehabilitation. However, not all professionals providing this therapy feel confident
understanding its principles and use. In this course, clinicians will understand the principles of
strength training and how they apply to RMT. They will be able to describe the differences
between various types of devices and the existing evidence behind their use.
