Course Description:

Coordination among the interprofessional team is imperative to improving the lives and outcomes of patients after a stroke. Each specialty has important, unique functions to perform, requiring careful management by a unified team. The goal of this course is to teach registered nurses, speech-language pathologists, and occupational and physical therapists in the acute care setting about their individual role along with the interprofessional approach to caring for patients after stroke.
