Course Description:

Creating a home environment for a patient with dementia that supports independence and mobility can facilitate aging in place. Rehabilitation therapy professionals can identify and make appropriate changes to an individual's home environment to support activity, safety, and comfort. This course provides best practices in how to modify the home environment to facilitate the maximization of function and engagement for an individual with dementia.
