Course Description:

This course guides physical and occupational therapists through the screening and assessment process for children with suspected developmental delay(s). Differences between the processes and tools used in early intervention (EI), school, and outpatient settings are discussed. Learners will understand how to interpret the results of their screening and assessments and determine the appropriate next steps. Note, treatment interventions are not discussed in detail in this course.

The goal of this course is to educate occupational and physical therapy professionals on screening and assessment of developmental delays.
