Course Description:

Shoulder pain commonly contributes to activity limitations in older adults. In this module, physical and occupational therapy providers will gain an understanding of how to differentiate impingement syndrome from other common causes of shoulder pain, including rotator cuff tear and cervical radiculopathy. Using examination findings and patient characteristics, you will learn to apply evidence-based interventions to maximize outcomes. Treatment considerations specific to older adults are discussed.
