Course Description:
Writing appropriate goals is a critical component of demonstrating the medical necessity and skilled need for physical therapy services. In this course, physical therapists will learn how to write goals in terms of functional outcomes that are relevant and important to the patient. Case studies and examples are used to show how to structure functional goals and ensure that your description of the patient's goals demonstrates the need for and value of physical therapy.
The goal of this course is to provide physical therapy professionals with the tools to create functional and measurable therapy goals.
