Course Description:

This course is designed for rehabilitation therapists new to working in pediatric settings. Learners will understand the unique roles and responsibilities of providing therapy to children including understanding the needs of the child, the caregivers, and clear communication with the care team. The requirements of all players involved in providing care including school systems, insurance providers including Medicaid, and community resources to support a continuum of care for the child will be reviewed.
