Course Description:

An evidence-based mobilization intervention implemented within hours of a patient admission due to a stroke is associated with reduced impairments, fewer secondary complications, and improved functional outcomes. When treating patients who have had a stroke, rehabilitation professionals must understand and translate current evidence into practice. This course provides clinical updates to rehabilitation professionals working with patients in the neurological critical care unit (NCCU) after stroke.
