Course Description:

Individuals with cancer and cancer survivors face numerous physical and psychological impairments related to the direct effects of cancer and side effects of treatment. This course discusses common medical treatments for cancer and their potential impact on clinical presentation of patients receiving physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services. Cardinal signs and symptoms of common side effects will be discussed.
