Course Description:
Physical therapy professionals often evaluate and treat gait deviations when working with older adults including slow speed, greater stance width, and shuffling gait. However, it can be challenging to identify the specific impairment and develop a targeted intervention to improve gait quality and efficiency. This module discusses assessment and treatment guidelines to address the most common gait deviations seen in older adults.
