Course Description:
In the skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting, to make decisions on how much therapy is appropriate for a patient, therapists need to use standardized objective measures to evaluate their patient's function, interpret the results to validate the frequency and duration of therapy, and communicate these results to the nursing team. This course reviews the fundamentals of GG coding to establish the need for therapy and expected progression. Through a series of case studies, best practices are applied in evaluation, communication, and development of treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
