Course Description:

This course provides physical therapists (PTs) and physical therapy assistants (PTAs) with guidance on how to effectively deliver care via telehealth. Multiple case studies are used to demonstrate clinical decision making and implementation using the initial evaluation and outcome measure findings to deliver evidence-based interventions. Ways to adapt the delivery of care, provide education to patients and caregivers, and engage the patient to promote adherence and long-term success are discussed.
