Course Description:

This course demonstrates best practices for physical, occupational, and speech therapy professionals working with complex pediatric clients and their families. You will learn how to match your education and counseling to client needs and health literacy level and how to assess their understanding. Tips for coordination of care and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team are presented.

The goal of this course is to teach rehabilitation therapy professionals how to engage families in pediatric rehabilitation.
