Let’s just be honest…. if you aren’t a certified hand therapist, working with a pediatric hand patient can be intimidating. But maybe it doesn’t have to be out of your comfort zone. Dr. Aditi Mehra, DHS, OTR/L breaks down all aspects of the pediatric hand. Dr. Mehra will show you step-by-step how to do a thorough evaluation and set up effective intervention plans.

•   Anatomy and Physiology, including contextual factors and body functions influential in pediatric hand skill development
•   Typical patterns and classification of fine motor skills development
•   The component skills required to develop hand skills in children to perform ADLs
