Course Description:

Walking is one of the primary components of human motor function, as such, interventions aimed at improving walking ability are common in physical therapy, particularly in children. To determine the most appropriate interventions as well as to monitor a child’s progress, accurate, comprehensive assessment of gait is critical. This course will review principles of and strategies for observational gait analysis and review standardized gait assessment tools used in the pediatric population.
