Course Description:

This practical and hopeful presentation addresses the risk and protective factors surrounding suicide in adults and older adults. The course will review the latest statistics and trends, as well as screening, assessment, and referral strategies. A review of factors that bolster resiliency in those that struggle will also be discussed as well as the role trauma plays in risk and how to encourage healing in those hurting deeply.
