Course Description:

Due to early detection and advancements in cancer treatment, the number of cancer survivors continues to increase. A cancer survivor is defined as someone who is living that has been diagnosed with cancer. Since more individuals are living far beyond their initial stages of treatment, cancer survivorship is now being considered a chronic condition. This course will teach caregivers how to help the cancer survivor re-establish roles, habits, and routines that promote occupational engagement and well-being.
