Course Description:

This course, with Michelle Lyons, discusses the Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) within the context of pelvic rehabilitation specialist practice. The course begins by describing the relevant anatomy and systems involved in POP, as well as the risk factors for developing POP. The course also covers the evidence base for treatment options, from conservative approaches to surgical interventions. Emphasis is placed on the role of the pelvic rehabilitation specialist in specific clinical scenarios.
