Course Description:

This intermediate level course for PT/PTAs and OT/OTAs on Rheumatoid Arthritis is part of a series of Accelerated Clinical Practice courses. The course provides an overview of Rheumatoid Arthritis, prevalence, demographics and evidence-based rehab treatment. Through a combination of small class size and extensive hands-on lab, this course provides the individual attention necessary to achieve proficiency in the use of electrical stimulation (TENS, PENS), Ultrasound, and Infrared Therapy for Rheumatoid Arthritis of the Wrist and Hand and the impact on functional mobility.
